When I shared sheet music on social media platforms, many netizens asked for the jian pu (simplified numbered notation) of my compositions. It wasn’t until then that I realised that a lot of Chinese musicians can not read complicated Western staff notation, and music literacy in China is insufficient.

And so I embarked on the journey to mitigate this issue. First, I searched online for an app or website that can automatically transpose - but I was in no luck. Apparently no such thing exists. So I decided to create an app that can transpose Western music staff notation into Chinese numbered notation. I hope to reduce barriers of music notation and allow music making to become more interconnected globally.

当我在社交媒体平台上分享我撰写的乐谱时，许多网友表示想要获得简谱。直到那时我才意识到，很多中国音乐爱好者难以阅读复杂的西方五线谱，而全民音乐素养并未达到普及程度。

于是我踏上了解决这一问题的旅途。首先，我尝试在网上搜索可以自动转谱的应用程序或网站，可我发现这样的程序并不存在。因此，我决定制作一个将五线谱转译为简谱的应用程序。我希望能减少音乐记谱法的障碍，让音乐变成世界的语言。
